Our Program

With Canteen Roads, campers entering 7th, 8th, 9th, & 10th grade will travel overnight Monday through Friday, and spend their weekends at home.  We visit top-rated locations while participating in a diversity of exciting activities, ranging from Outdoor Adventures, Cultural Encounters, and Exhilarating Experiences.  Campers stay in first-class hotels, like Marriotts and Sheratons, while all meals are at well-known restaurants offering many options.  The Owner-Director is on all trips to ensure camper safety as well as all aspects of the program.

Choose a 3-, 4-, 6- or 7-week program

  • 3 weeks = either Session I or Session II
  • 4+ weeks = either Session plus CALIFORNIA
  • 6 weeks = both Session I & II
  • 7+ weeks = both Session I & II plus CALIFORNIA

AUGUST 9TH - AUGUST 15TH, 2009

We will begin our week in San Francisco riding the Famous Cable Cars as we visit landmarks Height – Ashbury, Ghirardelli Square, and the winding roads of Lombard St.  We will take a boat ride to Alcatraz and spend the afternoon shopping and eating our way through Fisherman’s Wharf.  We will take in the thrills at California’s Great American Theme Park and then head out to Yosemite National Park where we will see and experience the beautiful sights of Half-Dome, Yosemite falls, and the Great Sequoias.

CALIFORNIA Highlights

  • Fly round-trip to San Francisco for a 7-day, 6-night adventure experiencing the best that Northern California has to offer.
  • Pair the California add-on to either Session for 4+ weeks or to both Sessions for an amazing summer of 7+ weeks.
