Activities

All activities and locations have excellent reputations and have been extensively researched prior to our visit.  Each Session is a specific balance of Outdoor Adventures, Cultural Encounters & Exhilarating Experiences.  All safety precautions and procedures are planned with the staff before each activity. top

Accommodations

Each week we will be staying in top-rated, full-service hotels (ex. Marriott, Hiltons & Sheratons) and every camper will sleep in his or her own bed.  In addition to our staff supervision, we hire our own security guard each night to ensure camper safety. top

Meals

All meals are included on every trip.   A full breakfast in the hotel restaurant, as well as a delicious lunch and dinner will be provided daily to all campers and staff at well-known, popular establishments.  At Canteen Roads, we firmly believe that eating is an activity! top

Transportation

All trips will leave from a centrally located points in Westchester, New Jersey, Long Island, and NYC on Monday mornings and return to the same location every Friday evening. We only employ air-conditioned, state-of-the-art private coach buses equipped with DVD players and bathroom from the highest-rated bus companies.  Prior to our departure, the driver’s records and bus maintenance logs are thoroughly checked. top

Staff

Our counselors must be of college age or older with experience in camping and working with children.  Many of them are involved in education and are our former campers.  We have one of the lowest counselor-to-camper ratios in the industry at 1:7.  Not only are all staff members certified in CPR and First Aid, but we always travel with a WSI lifeguard.   Before they are hired, all staff must submit references and have their background checked in accordance with the Children’s Safety Act of 2005.

We are a NO TIPPING, all-inclusive camp.  We reward our staff for excellent service as part of our counselor bonus program. top
