On our first week we head through the Finger Lakes region to explore the Gorges of Ithaca and the Watkins Glen NASCAR racetrack.  We will enjoy a day of Lake Erie fishing followed by lunch with the inventors of the hamburger, the Menches Bros. The adrenaline begins to flow as we conquer the 17 world-class roller coasters of Cedar Point Amusement Park.  As our heart rates return to normal, we will discover the amazing talent and accomplishments of this country’s greatest athletes and musicians at the Football Hall of Fame and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.  Our week also includes the Gameday Stadium Theater and a visit to the famous Berkely Creamery at Penn State University.

Week 2: July 6th – July 10th, 2009

Poconos, Hershey, Amish Country

Our week begins with the excitement of tubing down the Delaware River.  We then step back in time as we ride in Amish buggies through Kitchen Kettle Village and experience the Amish Experience Theatre.  For two of our four nights we will enjoy the outdoors at our private, amenity-filled campsite in the Pocono Mountains. There we will navigate a specifically designed program of mountain biking and white water rafting in the Lehigh Valley.  Evening activities include roaring campfires complete with s’mores and urban legends, go-carts, and mini-golf.  We head to Hershey to take in the thrills at Hershey Park, tour Hershey Chocolate World, and take time out for a Phillies baseball game!

Week 3: July 13th – July 17th, 2009

Montreal, Lake George

It’s time we take our travel experience to our neighbor up north.  We begin with an exciting day at Six Flags Great Escape and compare notes later in the week as we tackle the rides at Six Flags La Ronde.  Once up in Canada we will explore Montreal’s Underground, hike the peak of Mount Royal and jet boat the Lachine Rapids.  Later, we will take in awesome views as we take a gondola ride up Mont Tremblant and then alpine slide down. The “Acrobranche” course will challenge our skills as we traverse across the treetops on more than 10 ziplines! A Lake George Steamboat cruise for lunch will be a perfect end to the week.  Other activities include ice skating, La Recreatheque, the Old Port of Montreal and more!
